The Training Centre

The Training Centre was founded by Dr Elizabeth Hudson in 1979. In 2002 we changed our name to the London Regional Cytology Training Centre or LRCTC, and as you can see from the pictures opposite we also have new rooms and equipment.

The facilities include 20 Nikon Eclipse E200 microscopes with ergonomic heads, an Olympus B50x with up to 19 discussion heads, 3 Leitz Laborlux fitted with Pathfinder Compucyte and an extensive library of recent publications and some PC packages. Our facilities also include tea and coffee when required, air conditioned rooms, unlimited cold water, course booklets and a projector which is used for lectures.

We are situated in the St Marks building at Northwick Park Hospital, which is part of the North West London Hospital NHS Trust.
